I hope you have been well! As a reminder, our next meeting is Thursday, November 7th at 10am and will be available in a hybrid format (virtual and in person). Recovery Village
When: Saturday, October 12th from 12pm-8p
Where: Inside Las Vegas Pride festival at the historic 5th street school
Cost: Free to attend, sponsorship opportunities available
About: A Safe Space to celebrate pride loud and proud. There will be lots of things to do including music, speakers, social activities, sober bad, resource vendors and more!

Fund for Resilient Nevada (FRN) Dashboard
About: This dashboard displays the current allocation of opioid litigation recoveries to different FRN goals as well as the distribution of litigation dollars statewide and at the local government level. Actual/estimation years are based off of state fiscal timeframes. This dashboard reflects CAT 10 opioid allocation, other expenditure categories will be reflected on this dashboard soon

The National Survey on Drug Use and Health
About: The National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) is a nationwide study that provides up-to-date information on tobacco, alcohol, and drug use, mental health and other health-related issues in the United States. Each year, NSDUH interviews approximately 70,000 people age 12 and older for this important study. The study results are released each Fall, and are used to inform public health programs and policies.

Harm Reduction 201: Understanding Drug Related Stigma

2024 Nevada Statewide Conference on Addressing Homelessness
When: Monday, October 7th to Tuesday, October 8th
Where: Flamingo Las Vegas (3555 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89109)

About: Our conference provides a crucial platform for stakeholders from various sectors—including government agencies, non-profit organizations, businesses, community members, and People with Lived Experience—to come together, share insights, and explore effective strategies to combat homelessness. We are proud to share that our 2022 and 2023 conferences were sold out, with over 300 attendees from across the state including special guests from HUD, as well as written, video, and in person support of State, County, and City Elected Officials from across Nevada, National Alliance to End Homelessness, National Low Income Housing Coalition, and United States Interagency Council on Homelessness— reflecting the high level of engagement and the critical importance of this issue.
