  • Nevada Payment System Outage starting Dec. 20

    • All State of Nevada agencies will be unable to issue payments between December 20, 2024 and January 2, 2025. During this two-week timeframe, there will be no outgoing transactions and could result in major delays in payments. The Bureau understands that this could have unanticipated negative impacts for our community partners, especially those who are dependent on timely reimbursements and operate on tight month-to-month budgets. To best prepare for the outage, we ask that partial November RFRs be submitted by November 20, 2024, to ensure payment processing can be completed prior to the system outage. The Bureau acknowledges that not all expenses will be final for this November RFR.

    • For more information on how our partners can work to minimize the impact of this system outage, please see more here: https://files.constantcontact.com/f9350320801/577f7102-3210-4a45-8475-d27be4db8a4d.pdf

Interestingly, directorial and editing techniques that have long been used in movies correspond with some of the best practices derived from cognitive research about how we can engage our audiences in the delivery of our ideas.
